Meet Erika
Events Director & Founder
Erika is a seasoned event professional with over 18 years of experience in planning and executing events of all types and sizes. Prior to launching BPE, Erika served as the Director of Corporate Events at StratCap for 12 years where she oversaw large-scale educational seminars and due diligence meetings, corporate conferences, client functions, virtual webinars and internal event functions. Working with budgets of over $7 million and managing over 300 events annually, Erika developed a reputation for balancing creativity, precision, and resourcefulness to deliver exceptional results with extensive experience in the alternative investment sector.
Erika also served as an Event Designer for Mark Wood Entertainment for 6 years where she managed and executed custom events for high-profile clients such as Boeing, Toyota and Hyundai to name a few. From weddings and galas to concerts and fundraisers, Erika handled every aspect of event production, including entertainment, design, and coordination. She also managed marketing efforts, serving as the writer, editor, and publisher for company communications, social media, and press releases.
Erika earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from California State University, Fullerton. Additionally, she is fluent in Japanese and attended Asahi Gakuen, a Japanese school in Orange County established by the Japanese Business Association of Southern California. Beyond her work in event planning, Erika studied vocal performance and regularly appears in local musical theater productions, bringing a unique flair for storytelling and creativity to her events.
